Overview
Marutoku hakimonoten is crammed with footwear such as Geta (wooden clogs), Setta (leather-soled sandals) and Zori (Japanese sandals) mainly, and clothes such as Kimono (traditional Japanese clothes), Jimbei (informal summer clothes for men) and Samue (monk’s working clothes).
Items for festivals such as Koikuchi shirt (Japanese traditional innerwear), Tenugui (Japanese hand towel) and Momohiki (long underwear), Kimono accessories such as Sensu (folding fan), Furoshiki (wrapping cloth) and Shingembukuro (cloth bag), souvenirs such as Kokeshi (wooden doll shaped by turning lathe), T-shirt and postcard, and Japanese sundry articles are also available.
Tabi (Japanese socks) made of stretch material and Jika-tabi (rubber-soled cloth footgear for work) are also for sale.
